Dempsey ends drought in big Fulham win

[AMERICAN ABROAD] Clint Dempsey scored in Fulham's 3-0 win over West Bromwich, their first home victory since October and only third of the season. Fulham climbed five places, out of the relegation zone, to a four-way tie for 13th place with the win.

Dempsey scored on a header in the 56th minute for Fulham's second goal and his seventh of the season, ending a five-game scoring drought -- his longest of the season.

The loss was the fifth in a row for West Brom, which was eighth before Christmas and is now 16th.

The last of four EPL games in 11 days will be played on Wednesday when the rest of the Matchday 21 is played. The seven games include Arsenal-Manchester City at 2:45 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
