Edu returns after two-month layoff

[AMERICANS ABROAD] American midfielder Maurice Edu played his first game for Rangers in two months, coming on as a second-half substitute in its 3-0 win over Kilmarnock Monday night in the fourth round of the Scottish FA Cup.

Edu injured his left knee when it was hit on a lunging tackle from Hibernian's John Rankin. It was the same knee he injured in 2009.

He was sidelined seven months after being injured on the final day of the 2009 Scottish league season but returned to represent the USA at the 2010 World Cup.
