South Korea and Australia avoid upsets

[ASIAN CUP] After a string of upsets on the first three days at the Asian Cup, form prevailed in Group C as South Korea beat Bahrain, 2-1, and Australia downed India, 4-0.

South Korea got two goals from Koo Ja-Cheol and held on after Kwak Tae-Hwi was sent off and Faouzi Aaish scored from the penalty spot in the 85th minute.

Tim Cahill led Australia's Socceroos with two goals.
