Liverpool is set to make a $15 million bid for 17-year-old attacking midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has made only 14 starts for third-division Southampton. But he
has scored six goals is regarded by many as a better prospect than Theo Walcott was at the same age. Walcott, currently with Arsenal, also launched his pro career at Southampton.
