Bayern Munich keeps living up to its nickname, FC Hollywood. The last episode of the soap opera featured Dutchman Arjen Robben grabbing the throat of teammate Thomas
Mueller, who had gesticulated his displeasure at Robben's selfish play and a poorly taken free kick.
Robben choked Mueller during a 3-1 win over Werder Bremen in which Robben
scored the equalizer. "I hate it when teammates constantly raise their hands and complain," said Robben. "It is disrespectful. We are a team. We don't need to do that. We have got to be role models
and should not make such gesticulations."
Bayern's Dutch coach Louis van Gaal said:
"It is normal in Holland that we complain with one another and say what we need to, but it is
another culture in Germany. We are now third in the table, which is where we wanted to be, so hopefully things will settle down now."
