Top prospects to scatter across country

[SEATTLE SOUNDERS] Highly rated prospects Nick Palodichuk (Duke), Sean Okoli (Wake Forest) and DeAndre Yedlin (Akron) are among 10 members of the Seattle Sounders FC academy under-18 team who have made college commitments.

Palodichuk, who played for the USA at the 2009 Under-17 World Cup, has already enrolled at Duke. He was the 2010 Gatorade Washington State Player of the Year.

Okoli represented the U.S. U-18 national team in Israel for a four-nation tournament in December.

Palodichuk, Okoli and Yedlin, as well as goalie Ryan Herman (Santa Clara), are considered among the top candidates if the Sounders make any home-grown signings.
