[MLS] Philadelphia Union won a weighted lottery for 21-year-old forward Chris Agorsor, the former youth star whose
career at the University of Virginia was marred by injuries.
The Baltimore Bays product was one of most of highly touted players to come out of youth soccer in recent years when he
enrolled at Virginia, but a serious knee injury cut short his freshman season, and he only saw limited time as a sophomore in 2009 when the Cavaliers won the national title.
Agorsor
scored six goals and added two assists in 20 games played.
Expansion teams Portland and Vancouver were the only other teams in participate in the lottery.
A lottery for U.S.
U-20 defender Korey Veeder will be held on Tuesday.
