Danny Szetela, 23, once a rising star in American soccer but released by D.C. United in March of 2010, was arrested along with his two brothers last week after a fight outsideJohnnies Tavern in Boonton, N.J.

A Clifton, N.J., product, Szetela played for the USA at the U-17 and U-20 World Cups. He spent three seasons (2004-07) with the Columbus Crew before movingto Spain and Italy. He returned to MLS for a short stint with D.C. United in 2009.

Szetela was charged with disorderly conduct with his brothers, Gregory G. Szetela, 28,and Derrick T. Szetela, 30, after police were called to the Boonton Avenue bar at 11:50 p.m. Friday on a report of a large fight.

Police said they determined that the threebrothers became involved in fights with patrons and bar employees.
