[CONCACAF UNDER-17 CHAMPIONSHIP] The USA clinched a place in Tuesday's Concacaf U-17 Championship quarterfinals without playing a game. It still has a game
against Panama Friday at Jarrett Park Stadium in Montego Bay, Jamaica, to determine first and second place in Group B, but the key game comes Tuesday with a berth in the 2011 Under-17 World Cup on the
line. ESPN Deportes and ESPN3.com will air the game at a time to be determined.
The USA, a 3-1 winner over Cuba in its first game, clinched one of the top two spots in Group B when Cuba
and Panama tied, 0-0, on Wednesday. The Americans will clinch first place with a win or tie and face either Costa Rica or El Salvador in the quarterfinals.
ESPN Deportes and ESPN3.com
will air all four quarterfinals as well as the rest of the tournament. Beginning with the quarterfinals, matches will also be streamed live on CONCACAF.com.
The USA is the only country to
have played in every Under-17 World Cup. The 2011 competition will be played this summer in Mexico.
