Bedoya headed for EPL tryout

[AMERICANS ABROAD] U.S. national team midfielder Alejandro Bedoya confirmed he will have a trial at English Premier
League club Birmingham this week.
Bedoya followed former Boston College teammate Charlie Davies to Sweden and like Davies hopes to parlay his
success into a move to a bigger club.
Bedoya, 23, has spent the last two years with Orebro. He has one year left on his current contract and says the Birmingham trial “gives me a
chance to see where I stand compared with some of the best players in the best league in the world.”
Davies moved from Hammarby to French club Sochaux in 2009.
