Saprissa holds slim edge in Central American series

[CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE] Saprissa of Costa Rica completed the first leg of the Concacaf Champions League quarterfinals with a 1-0 win over short-handed
Olimpia of Honduras on Armando Alonso's fourth goal of the season.
But the three-time Concacaf club champion may come to bemoan its failure to win
by more goals at home after Olimpia spent the last 80 minutes with 10 men.
Honduran international Oscar Boniek was sent off in the 10th minute.
