UEFA President Michel Platini said Serbia will be kicked out of the Euro 2012 qualifiers if the Balkan country’s fans cause any more crowd trouble.

Last October, Serbianfans rioted at a Euro 2012 qualifier in Italy, forcing the game to be abandoned after six minutes when they threw flares at home fans and police in Genoa.

Serbia president BorisTadic met with Platini and Tadic’s office said in a statement that “it was UEFA’s position that the Serbian national team and the country’s clubs would be expelled from all Europeancompetition if its hooligans continued with their violent and criminal behavior.”
