Acuna and Buddle get second goals

[AMERICANS ABROAD] California-born Isaac Acuna, 21, scored in his second straight game for Mexican First Division club Queretaro in its 1-1 tie with Cruz Azul. Edson Buddle scored his second goal for German second division club FC Ingolstadt in its 4-1 win at Karlsruhe, which started Luis Robles in goal.

Acuna, who was born in Imperial, joined Queretaro on loan from Club America.

The win moved Buddle's FC Ingolstadt to within three points of 16th-place Karlsruhe in the 18-team Bundesliga 2. The bottom two teams go down, and the 16th-place team moves into a promotion/relegation playoff.
