Americans rally to claim Four Nations Tournament

[U.S. UNDER-23 WOMEN] The USA got goals from Melissa Henderson, Sarah Hagen and Casey Nogueira in a 13-minute span late in the game and rallied to beat Norway, 3-2, to win the Four Nations Tournament for under-23 teams in La Manga, Spain.

Henderson, who plays for NCAA women's champion Notre Dame, scored an assist from former Portland star Keelin Winters in the 71st minute, Hagen evened the scored with her third goal in three games and set up Nogueira with the winner.

The USA beat Sweden, 4-2, and tied England, 1-1, in its other games.

U.S. coach Bill Irwin brought a roster of 18 players to Spain, 10 of whom will be playing WPS this upcoming season and are now headed to preseason training camps.
