There won't be any international soccer played in Libya any time soon. The African soccer confederation (CAF) made sure of that by ordering the 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifier between Libya
and Comoros to be moved from Tripoli to a neutral site. The game was scheduled in late March at the June 11 Stadium.
The decision comes a week after CAF pulled the eight-nation African Under-20 Championship from Libya. It was scheduled to be played March 18-April 1 in Tripoli and Benghazi.
Algeria and South Africa have offered to host the tournament later in the spring.
