Edu's Rangers captures Scottish League Cup

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Maurice Edu won his fourth trophy since joining Rangers three years ago when it beat Old Firm rival Celtic, 2-1, in overtime in the Scottish League Cup final.

Croatian Nikica Jelavic won the game in the 97th minute when his shot hit the post and rolled across the line.

Edu, who had his plea for a penalty kick in the 60th minute rejected for a handball by Celtic's Mark Wilson, has won Scottish Premier League titles in both seasons with Rangers and won the  Co-operative Insurance Cup final at Hampden Park for the second year in a row.

Rangers trails leader Celtic by two points in the SPL but has a game in hand.
