Mexico’s San Luis kept alive its hopes of reaching the second round of the Copa Libertadores on Tuesday with its first Group A win, a 3-1 victory over Peru’s Universidad San Martin in which23-year-old Ecuadorian Michael Arroyo scored twice.

Another Mexican entry in the South America’s top club competition, Club America, could move close to passage tothe knockout round with a win at Fluminense in Group 3 on Wednesday (live on Fox Deportes, 9 pm ET). In their first clash, Club America won, 1-0, at Azteca Stadium.

Marc Serber figures this could be the most intriguing game of the week. Fluminense has struggled, but Argentine Dario Conca is a midfield maestro of real creativityand vision. He needs to connect with Rafael Moura (scorer of both goals for Fluminense in the tournament so far).

For its part, Club America is spearheaded by a couple ofVicentesSanchez and Vuoso – who are complemented nicely by Daniel Montenegro just behind them. Outside right backMiguel Layun is a real threat coming forward and is another provider of quality service for the front men.
