Australia's 2-1 win over Germany in Moenchengladbach ranks as one of the Socceroos' biggest wins ever, and it had star Harry Kewell wishing they could
reproduce the form at major tournaments.
David Carney and Luke Wilkshire scored second-half goals to give
the Socceroos the comeback win. It was sweet revenge for Australia's 4-0 loss to Germany in its opening game at the 2010 World Cup.
"When you beat the world's third best team, especially
on home soil, I think they've got to be cursing themselves," Kewell said. "We go out there and we do produce. It's just a shame sometimes we don't go out there in the World Cup, on the big stage and
do the same thing."
