* Charlie Davies went down after a shove from L.A. defender Omar Gonzalez's left arm and converted the 90th-minute penalty kick -- his third successful PK of the season -- to give D.C. United a 1-1 tie with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

* The 22-year-old Brazilian Camilo, whose stoppage time goals last week earned the Vancouver Whitecaps a 3-3 tie with Kansas City, scored the Caps lone goal in a 3-1 loss to Houston. His teammate, Eric Hassli, scored his third of the season from the penalty spot earlier in the week in a 1-1 tie with New England.

* Uruguyan Diego Chaves scored his third of the season in Chicago's 2-1 loss to Seattle.

* After Week 4, MLS's goals per average is 2.53. Last season ended with a 2.46 goals per game average.
