[SPRING SOCCER] Harvard drew 11,513 fans for a match Sunday afternoon against the Haitian national team as a fundraiser benefiting Partners in Health relief
efforts in Haiti.
The game ended in a 0-0 tie. Following regulation, the Crimson and Haiti settled the contest on penalty kicks, won by the Haitians, 4-1.
The Crimson had
several close chances by Kyle Henderson, Tim Linden, Tim Linden and Kevin Harrington, but Peterson Occenat was sensational in goal for Haiti.
Tickets to the game -- Haiti Leve --
were $10 for the general public and donations were accepted with all the proceeds going to Partners in Health.
