Pros brought in for Montaigu tournament

;">[U.S. UNDER-16 MEN] The USA is sending a team to the 39th annual Mondial Minimes Montaigu Tournament in France.  The squad, coached by Gerson Echeverry, includes Philadelphia Union homegrown signee Zach Pfeffer, Russell Canouse, who recently left the New York Red Bulls academy program to sign with Germany's Hoffenheim, and Nicholas Gaitan, who joined Argentinos Juniors in Argentina from New York's Albertson Academy.

The team also includes nine players who are currently part of the U.S. Soccer U-17 residency program in Bradenton, Fla.

Jordan Allen and Paul Arriola were part of the U.S. team that won the CONCACAF U-17 Championship.

The Americans open play Wednesday against Portugal.
