Cabrera takes 24 players to Mexico

U.S. head coach Wilmer Cabrera is bringing 24 players, including 17 players from the team that won the Concacaf U-17 Championship in February.

Two other players from the Concacaf U-17 Championship team -- Jordan Allen and Paul Arriola -- are with the U.S. U-16s, who lost their first two games at the Mondial Minimes in Montaigu, France.

Andrew Oliver, who led the USA with four goals at the Concacaf qualifier, is not with either team.

"Two other players from the Concacaf U-17 Championship team -- Jordan Allen and Paul Arriola -- are with the U.S. U-16s, who lost their first two games at the Mondial Minimes in Montaigu, France." How did they play? Winning and losing is not an issue. It is player development!

Andrew Oliver, who led the USA with four goals at the Concacaf qualifier, is not with either team. Why?

U.S. head coach Wilmer Cabrera loves to coach on the sideline and direct traffic frequently. Will he follow the direction of Claudia Arena or coaches to sit down? Personally, Coach Wilmer Cabrera is an oustanding coach for our U-17 team.
