Carolina players win NASL awards

[WEEKLY HONORS] Carolina RailHawks forward Etienne Barbara and goalkeeper Brad Knighton were named the NASL Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, while Orlando City forward Max Griffin was named the USL PRO Player of the Week.

Barbara scored two goals -- giving him a league-leading six for the season -- and had one assist in Saturday’s 3-1 win over FC Tampa Bay, while Knighton made 11 saves to allow the RailHawks to extend their unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1).

Griffin scored the game-winning goal in the Lions’ 1-0 victory against Dayton on Saturday night.
