English FA says it will abstain

FA Chairman David Bernstein had admitted previously that voting for Blatter in the wake of scandalous activities surrounding the bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, which were assigned to Russia and Qatar, respectively, wouldn't sit well with the FA board. "We will look at the recent events and take that on board," said Bernstein. "There are two candidates and three possible decisions, the other being that we will abstain."

The FIFA presidential election is scheduled for June 1.
