Freddy Adu was among the 23 players U.S. national team coach Bob Bradley called up for the Gold Cup. The 21-year-oldmidfielder has not played for the national team in two years and has been playing in the Turkish second division.

New York Red Bulls’ Juan Agudeloand Tim Ream were among five players who have debuted for the USA since the 2010 World Cup. Bradley called up 14 players from the 2010 World Cup team.

Among those not called up were German-American Timothy Chandler, Canadian-American Teal Bunbury and Swedish-basedAlejandro Bedoya.
