Barcelona-Manchester United on the air

[TELEVISION GUIDE] Fox Sports will pull out all the stops for its coverage of the UEFA Champions League final from Wembley, beginning at 2 pm ET on Fox.

Martin Tyler and Alan Smith will call the action in the game that kicks off at 2:45 pm ET.

Curt Menefee, the co-host of Fox NFL Sunday, anchors pregame, halftime and postgame coverage live from Wembley, where he will be joined by Fox Soccer analysts Eric Wynalda and Warren Barton. Aston Villa goalkeeper and former U.S. international player Brad Friedel will join them as guest analyst.

Also taking part in the pregame coverage will be U.S. star Landon Donovan, who will talk about Barcelona star Lionel Messi, Fox NFL Sunday analyst Michael Strahan, who grew up in Europe watching soccer, and Fox Sports broadcaster Gus Johnson.

Memefee will lead pregame coverage on Fox Soccer with a one-hour show at 1 pm ET.

A special one-hour preview show from London will air on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.

Fox Deportes will also air the game live. A replay will air on foxsoccer.tv beginning at 5 pm ET.

    Slowly but surely, the USA becomes soccer nation as the anti-soccer boomers who control the mainstream sports media start retiring and dying out. The Eurosnobs who tune in can't stop their kids from becoming MLS fans eventually. Hence, the next generation is when MLS will have nearly as many eyeballs from their important games as the Champions league. MLS know this. Slow and steady ............
