[LOUISVILLE MEN] NCAA Division I runner-up Louisville has added three transfers for the 2011 season: high-scoring Brazilian Richard Osterloh (Mars Hill), Michael Roman (UCLA) and Kegan Harkenrider (Denver).
Osterloh,
a 6-2 forward, had 10 goals and 23 points in nine games, earning 2010 South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year honors.
Roman, a 5-11 midfielder from Oxnard, Calif., played in 30
games the last two seasons for UCLA.
Harkenrider, a 5-10 midfielder from Fort Wayne, Ind., played one season at Denver, starting in 19 games.
Louisville head coach Ken Lolla also signed Mountain Mitchell from Punahou School in Kailua, Oahu, as a late recruit.
“We are
very excited about this incoming group, they will bring an excellent balance of experience and talent,” said Lolla. “They will be a wonderful addition to an already experienced
group.”
Lolla previously announced the signings of high school standouts Isaiah Trejo and Shaquille
Hamilton and transfers Greg Cochrane and Patrick Huang from Virginia Tech for 2011.
