Canada salvages draw against Ecuador

[GOLD CUP COUNTDOWN] Canada, which will open against the USA at the Gold Cup on Tuesday in Detroit, got a stoppage-time goal from Tosaint Ricketts, his first international goal, to earn a 2-2 tie with Ecuador at BMO Field on Wednesday night.

Ecuador was caught off guard when Ricketts scored off a quick Julian de Guzman free kick.

Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Terry Dunfield had Canada's first goal, also his first at the international level.
