* Carlos Ruiz scored his sixth goal in Philadelphia's 3-0 win at New England to give the Guatemalan 88 regular-season goals in 169 games.

* Three of Week 18's seven games ended in scoreless tie and the week's goals-per-game average was a mere 1.86.
