goal of the season and notched his fifth assist in Seattle's 4-3 win over defending champion Colorado.
* Carlos Ruiz scored his sixth goal in Philadelphia's 3-0 win at New
England to give the Guatemalan 88 regular-season goals in 169 games.
* Three of Week 18's seven games ended in scoreless tie and the week's goals-per-game average was a mere 1.86.
* MLS's leaguewide goals-per-game average is 2.40. The 2010 season ended with an all-time low 2.46 goals per game.
