I believe firmly, this statement to be true. The really dedicated soccer player wants to rise to the highest level they can. I think also, even with youth soccer, especially with the older high school age players , even the parents want their son or daughter to be recognized to be able to advance to the next level. I do not believe this to be confined to just the sport of soccer. It is healthy for the athletes, it brings out the competitiveness in all sports participants, what better reason to improve one's game?
