Silverbacks' Ruthven is honored

[WEEKLY HONORS] Tyler Ruthven, son of former Major League pitcher Dick Ruthven, was named the NASL Defensive Player of the Week for his role in the Atlanta Silverbacks’ 2-1 victory over FC Tampa Bay that extended their unbeaten streak to three games.

Brazilian Pablo Campos, who scored two goals to lead the first-place Carolina RailHawks to a 4-1 win over FC Edmonton, was named the NASL Offensive Player of the Week.

Midfielder Andrew Welker, who had a hat trick in the Harrisburg City Islanders' 5-1 victory over FC New York, was named the USL PRO Player of the Week.
