Soccer America Women's Preseason Top 25

[COLLEGE RANKINGS] Stanford and Notre Dame, last year's Women's College Cup finalists, are ranked 1-2 in the Soccer America Women's Preseason Top 25 rankings, as selected by its editors.

Notre Dame beat Stanford, 1-0, in the College Cup final. Both teams are loaded with returning talent and will meet on Sept. 9 at Stanford.

ACC teams North Carolina, Florida State, Maryland and Boston College are ranked 3-4-5-6, and seven ACC teams are ranked in the Top 25.

The Pac-10 is second with five teams in the Top 25.

    Portland will be moving one way or another. They play six teams in top 25 and most in near future.

    This top 25 better make room for Minnesota. Building a program that deserves more notice.
