Independence moves into championship

[WPS] Tasha Kai scored just seconds into the second half and Amy Rodriguez added a late goal to give the Philadelphia Independence a 2-0 win over magicJack in Women's Professional Soccer's super semifinal before 5,410 fans at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.

The Independence will now face regular-season champion Western New York Flash in next Saturday's championship match in Rochester, N.Y

Philly took two of the three meetings with the Flash, including the only match between the two at Sahlen’s Stadium.

The championship will be broadcast nationally live on Fox Sports Net at 4 pm. (Click here for local broadcast times.)
