Abrigo leads the young Tribe

[TOP 25 SPOTLIGHT] This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for CAA champion William & Mary, but the Tribe moved into the Soccer America Top 25 at No. 20 after opening with a 3-2 win at SMU, the Mustangs' first season-opening loss at Westcott Field in 21 years.

"It was a great to go on the road and beat a good team in SMU," Tribe coach Chris Norris said after the win.  "With a young team, we didn't know what to expect, but this is result that could potentially help us down the road."

Senior Nicolas Abrigo scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, to give him six goals in his last six games, dating back to the 2010 CAA Tournament.

Junior Ben Anderson had the game-winner with a strike from 30 yards.

Norris started four freshman -- Northern Ireland youth international Michael Teiman, Joshua West, Andrew Kestler and Will Smith -- and three sophomores -- Will Smith, Ben Coffet and Roshan Patel.
