Bradley's Chievo opens Sunday

[AMERICANS ABROAD] The Italian Serie A season finally starts this weekend, giving Michael Bradley his first chance to play for his new club, Chievo, which hosts promoted Novara. For more on what lies ahead for the weekend ...

-- One of the weekend's big EPL clashes pits Bolton Wanderers against Manchester United, but don't expect to see Stuart Holden in action, despite his encouraging performance for Bolton's reserves on Wednesday.

"It's great to have him back," Bolton manager Owen Coyle said. "I think he has probably been getting a little bit frustrated because he thinks he can click his fingers after being out for six months and get back at the level he was at. It takes time to build up that fitness and your decision-making in a game, but it was great to see him running about with a Bolton Wanderers shirt on, albeit in a reserve game. It will be a tremendous boost when we get him back, and for Jurgen Klinsmann to make that trip when it was pouring down and to stay all night to watch the game is all credit to him."

-- Games involving Americans abroad available to U.S. viewers include Fulham with Clint Dempsey against Blackburn (Fox Soccer Channel, Sunday, 11 am ET), Nuremberg with Timmy Chandler against FC Cologne (ESPN Deportes, ESPN3.com, Sunday, 9:30 am ET).
