Holden makes winning return, Findley scores again

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Stuart Holden played his first competitive match since March, starting for Bolton Wanderers in its 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the third round of the English League Cup. U.S. World Cup 2010 teammate Robbie Findley scored a blast from 30 yards for Nottingham Forest in its 4-3 overtime loss to Newcastle.

Holden was Bolton's 2011 Player of the Year despite missing the two months of the English season after suffering a knee injury in a challenge from Manchester United's Jonny Evans.

Bolton has struggled without Holden. It was tied for seventh place in the EPL when he was injured and it finished in 12th place. It is tied for last place after five games this season.

Findley's goal was his third in the League Cup and fourth overall for Forest.
