Rueda calls up Valencia and Montero

[USA-ECUADOR] Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia, Jefferson Montero of surprise Spanish leader Real Betis and six Mexican-based players headline the Ecuador team that will face the USA Oct. 11 at Red Bull Arena.

Ecuador begins its World Cup 2014 qualifying campaign four days earlier when it hosts Venezuela.

Coach Reinaldo Rueda will release three Liga de Quito players after the Venezuela game so they can prepare for their game in the Copa Sudamericana.
