[AROUND THE COUNTRY] After five straight wins, Marquette suffered its first loss in the Big East when it fell to Georgetown, 3-2, in a game moved from theGolden Eagles’ grass field to the turf portion of Valley Fields due to the grass field being flooded from consistent rain and 50 mph wind gusts.

SteveNeumann scored both the equalizer and the game-winner in the last 11 minutes to give the Hoyas the comeback win.

Ben Slingerland had putGeorgetown ahead in the sixth minute, but senior Calum Mallace and freshman Kelmend Islami scored to give Marquette the2-1 lead at the half.

— Iona improved to 13-2-0 when junior Ansger Otto’s blast from just outside the box in the 95th minute propelled the Gaels to a 2-1 victory over Army. Otto, atransfer from D3 Stevenson University, had both Iona goals.
