FGCU runs shutout streak to nine games

[AROUND THE COUNTRY] FGCU extended its shutout streak to nine games when it beat Lipscomb, 1-0, on senior Olivia Elias' goal in the 63rd minute.

The Eagles improved to 12-3-2 overall and 7-0-1 in the Atlantic Sun, where their unbeaten streak is 21 games. With a victory or tie against Belmont on Sunday, FGCU can clinch its second straight A-Sun regular-season championship.
 
-- Stephen F. Austin extended its winning streak to 10 games, one away from the school record set in 1995, with a 4-0 victory over Southeastern Louisiana. The Ladyjacks, who have not allowed a goal in 728 consecutive minutes, had a 27-1 edge in shots over Southeastern Louisiana, which entered the game with the nation's second best offense. Kylie Louw led SFA with one goal and two assists, all off corner kicks.

-- Georgetown set a school record for regular-season wins when the Hoyas hammered Villanova, 6-0.
The Hoyas got two goals apiece from Camille Trujillo and Daphne Corboz.

-- Hayley Hughes scored the lone goal and goalkeeper Kayla Millar made six saves to lift Colorado to a 1-0 win at California, its first win since joining the Pac-12.

-- Samford used goals from Brittany Hoffman and Michelle Moll to defeat Davidson, 2-0, and extend its winning streak to five matches. The Bulldogs also remained undefeated in Southern Conference play at 7-0-2.
