Herculez Gomez scores at rapid rate

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Starting or coming off the bench, Herculez Gomez can do no wrong. He scored twice in a rare start for Estudiantes Tecos in its 5-2 win over Santos to give him seven goals in 645 minutes of action -- almost one goal every 90 minutes -- and that doesn't include a goal last week that has been since ruled to be an own goal. For video of his latest goals and a breakdown of his goals in Mexico ...

Gomez now has 22 goals with three teams in less than two years in Mexico. He has scored nine as a starter and 13 as a substitute.

And Luis, I agree with you as well. He was one of the one's I thought Bob should have put more stock in. However, I felt that way because of Gomez's nose for the goal. And now, I feel the same way about why JK should be calling him up. Because of his skill and nothing else.

And as a Packer fan, I can't help but love seeing Gomez do the Aaron Rodgers championship belt celebration. :)
