Petrolul Ploiesti, the Romanian club at whose stadium a fan rushed the field and punched a Steaua Bucharest, has been ordered to play six home games in an empty stadium and was fined PetrolulPloiesti $19,000 by the Romanian federation.

Steaua Bucharest defender George Galamaz suffered a broken cheekbone in the attack by Dragos Petrut Enache, who was jailed for 29days pending trial.

Galamaz’s two teammates who began beating up Enache after the attack had their red cards rescinded by the federation.

The game was abandoned in the first halfafter home fans threw flares onto the field. Steaua was leading 2-0.
