Bruins clinch title with 2-0 win over Cal

[PAC-12] UCLA clinched its third Pac-12 title in four years and seventh overall after defeating California, 2-0, on goals by Eder Arreola and Chandler Hoffman on Friday in Berkeley.

The Bruins broke through in the 37th minute as Arreola scored his third goal of the season on assists by Patrick Matchett and Hoffman.

The Bruins added an insurance goal in the 88th minute when Hoffman took a pass from Reed Williams and scored his 14th goal of the season.

California goalkeeper Kevin Peach kept the Golden Bears in the game with eight saves.

UCLA improved its record to 13-4-1 and 8-0-0 in conference play.
