UC Riverside, 2-0, while second-seeded UCSB defeated UC Davis, 2-1, in the semifinals on Wednesday night.
UCI, which will host the Gauchos in Irvine on Saturday for the championship, went ahead after 35 seconds when Cameron Iwasa scored on a header.
Tarek Morad tacked on an unassisted goal for the Anteaters in the 31st minute, scoring from 20 yards out off of the right post.
Sam Garza scored the first goal for UCSB and set up David Opoku for the second.
UC Davis was able to cut the Gaucho lead to one goal in the 80th minute when Dan Reese scored on a header.
The Aggies had a couple of near misses in the waning minutes, but Andre Grandt came up with a pair of great saves to preserve the UCSB win.
