A clean sheet by Saunders, who made a couple of nice saves, and he only gets a 5? I have no idea what rubric you use, Ridge.

Gonzalez gets a 7? The evaluation at MLS soccer is much more accurate: they say it was perhaps the best performanc ever by a defender in MLS Cup games. I'm not sure about the history but they gave it an 8.5 - I had a 9. It was simply astonishing.
Ridge's ratings are always so cramped. Franklin and DeLaGarza also deserve higher ratings than he gave them.

Christman really deserved a generous 1 rating; he brought absolutely nothing to the game except his physicality which bordered on clumsy....as for the Dynamo ratings, reasonable, for a team that did play well minus Davis and no DP.

Here is the real deal for the Galaxy (same order as listed): 7,6,7,8.5,6,6,8.5,8,6, 7,2. Beckham was so active despite being injured, had many great passes that Cristman basically squandered. To me he deserved the MVP more that Landon. Landon was his usual tireless and committed self, but not until he scored was he better than Becks. An 8.5 could be shared by both but I give it to DB as his class showed every time he touched the ball.

If Beckman leaves the Galaxy then you will see
how valuable he was to the team in every game and in my opinion the best player on the field
in this game. Mahoney's ratings are always low.
Keane needs more credit for the pass to Dovovan. He put himself in place to make that pass or Dovovan would not have had to chance to score.

Juninho scores the same as Beckham?? I barely noticed Juninho was in the game and Beckham worked his butt off.
