Duke went up 1-0 on a blast by freshman Nick Palodichuk in the 51st
minute, but the Blue Devils were reduced to 10 men 25 minutes later when Chris Tweed-Kent was red carded.
With the man advantage, the Lobos threw
everything at Duke keeper James Belshaw, and Blake Smith tied the game with a shot from outside the area in the 82nd
minute.
UNM is now 18-0-3 and moves into the third round against USF, which also advanced with a 2-1 win over UCF on a golden goal by Wesley
