Galaxy on Drogba's list, says agent

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has turned down Chelsea's offer of a one-year extension and looks set to move on, perhaps to the Los Angeles Galaxy, according to his agent. "That does not suit us," Thierno Seydi said to reporters of an extension. "We know what we want, where we want to go and what offers we have.

"LA Galaxy are a possibility among many others. He has been linked with Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia, as they pay well. But neither Didier nor I have had an offer from them."

Seydi says a loan offer from AC Milan was rejected outright and Drogba's services will go to the highest bidder."At Didier's age, he has nothing left to prove as a player," he said of the 33-year-old Ivorian international. He will go where he is offered the most money"

"It could be the United States, Russia, Qatar or somewhere else in Asia. Once you are well into your 30s you have to go to a club where you can be certain you'll be able to pay your bills."

(The Galaxy is on a three-game international tour to Indonesia, the Philippines, and Australia. On the trip are its three Designated Players -- David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane --  which is the maximum number of DPs allowed by league rules. Beckham, who will be out of contract at the end of the year, has said he'll announce whether or not he's leaving the Galaxy when the team returns from its tour next week.)
