Silvio Berlusconi, who resigned as prime minister of Italy this month amid Italy’s economic turmoil, says he will return to his role as president of AC Milan.

Berlusconi left the helm of the Serie A power when he started his third term as prime minister in 2008.

“I’m the president who has won the most titles in soccer,” Berlusconisaid.

He bought AC Milan in 1986 and the club won 28 trophies during his reign, including eight Serie A championships and five European Cups.
