A squad of Generation adidas players led by Sporting Kansas City manager Peter Vermes is bound for training and three games in the Netherlands.
New England defender Kevin Alston (81 MLS games) is the most experienced member of the 18-player roster that also includes Philadelphia forward Danny Mwanga, Real Salt Lake midfielder Luis Gil, Montreal right back Zarek Valentin
and Union goalkeeper Zac MacMath.
During its tour, the GA team will play an Ajax reserve team, FC Volendam, and Almere City FC. The players will
also attend a Champions League match between Ajax and Real Madrid at the Amsterdam Arena and see Jozy Altidore's club AZ Alkmaar play De Graafschap in an
Eredivisie match.
The GA contingent departs Monday and returns to the U.S. Dec. 15.
