[U.S. NATIONAL TEAM] The college women's season is over, but there's no rest for five collegians who were called into the U.S. national team camp being held
through Dec. 20 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. None of them played at the Women's College Cup.
Christine Nairn (Penn State) and Sydney Leroux (UCLA) have both been capped.
Ingrid Wells (Georgetown), Melissa
Henderson (Notre Dame) and Leroux are all seniors, while Kristie Mewis (Boston College) is a junior and Nairn is a redshirt sophomore.
U.S.
head coach Pia Sundhage called up 31 players for the 18-day training camp as she continues to evaluate the player pool in preparation for 2012 Olympic
qualifying.
