Rutgers pair called into Fullerton camp

[CANADA NATIONAL TEAM] Canada, host of January's Concacaf Olympic qualifying tournament, brought in five U.S.-based collegians, including Shannon Woeller and Amelia Pietrangelo from Rutgers, for the training camp that runs through Dec. 15 in Fullerton, Calif.

Canada finished the 2011 season with 14 wins, four ties and six losses, but an early exit from the Women's World Cup cost Italian Carolina Morace her job. John Herdman is in charge of the 23-player squad in Fullerton.

Midfielders Alyscha Mottershead (Syracuse) and Chelsea Stewart (UCLA) and forward Chelsea Buckland (Oregon State) complete the quintet of collegians in camp.

Most of the other Canadians attended U.S. colleges.
